Anniversary Week!

It's Anniversary Week in the Dumont house!  That's right. This Saturday will mark 12 whole years since Mr. Incredible and I got married. It also means that my facebook friends get to read sappy statuses all week. I  admit I'm especially proud of this anniversary. I know 12 isn't a major milestone in the world of marriage, but it's a big deal for me.  Admittedly, anniversary 11 was a bit of a letdown. Instead of a celebration, it was more like "Oh look. We didn't kill each this year. Yay."  By the way, no one tells you that NOT KILLING your spouse might be the highlight of a year. ;)  Someone should get on that. Really.
  
No, this year was much happier, and I can honestly say that we are happier and more in luuuurve than ever. Anniversaries and birthdays always make me want to list up everything that's happened so far, so I thought I'd list a few things from our 12 years and counting...

• 5 moves (That's not so bad really...if we hadn't had 2 in 1 year)
• 3 kids (obviously)
• 8 cars 
• 3 graduations (because we're awesome and educated!)
• 13 jobs between the two of us (Mr. Inc technically has 3 right now)
• 4 car wrecks (NONE were our fault, and none were major)
• 1 house purchased
• 1 house SOLD (I'll bet a lot of people wish they could claim this one!)
• 1 activation and 0 deployments (I still have no idea how we missed out on a deployment)
• 0 Emergency Room visits (Again, I have no idea how we missed out on an ER visit either)

So there you have it. A top 10 list so to speak of things we've done/survived over the last 12 years. I have no doubt that many people thought we wouldn't make it this far, and more than one person questioned our sanity for getting married so quickly and so young.  People even questioned why we'd have a baby so soon, as if it's anybody else's business! But whatever. We did what was right and best for us, and it's working out marvelously so far! I can't wait to see what year 13 will bring!
